The mulit-talented Chris Cowie dons his trance trousers once again with an absolute stellar release on Hook sub label UG thats already causing a worldwide fuss in the capable hands of Christopher Lawrence. On 'Bolero'` Cowie uses a powerful` retro-feeling b-line with top endy synth squelch and slick filtered transitions for a track that peaks and flows like a proper floor-mover should. On 'Tango' we see him going for a deeper` dubbier feel that is all about the punchy drums and understated riffs that make this one a real groover.

2nd slammin release from the Mazeman crew this week` the M.I.K.E. styled tech trancer 'Another Moonlight' from this French producer. The a-side is a pumping tech trance workout with pitched synth leads` dramatic backing strings and solid rolling b-lines. The breakdown works an anthemic filtered arpeggio and chord changes that will bring the house down! On the flipside 'Acid Configuration' runs on a fat 303 b-line` tall strings and a great sense of anticipation that keeps you hooked until the final drop.

Behind this record are the guys from THREE DRIVES ON A VINYL who've proved to be master class progressive producers with tracks like` 'Greece 2000'` 'Sunset On Ibiza'. The a-side starts with a bit tech but it turns into a mega uplifting vibe after the break which is very well arrangened and an ultimate climax will turn on the crowd in no time. Flip to` 'After Flower' which is a more melodic progressive pitched cut that's already gained tons of airplay from TIESTO` ARMIN VAN BUUREN & FERRY CORSTEN so you know what time it is!!

Dark as funk minimal progressive gear with tough percussion` a catchy female vocal and some wicked sounds. This has a similar vibe as the last Alma Matris on Mantis which was a big track for the likes of Jonathan Peters and Peter Rauhoffer.
Brand new mix of this storming tribal/progressive monster onthe Mantra Vibes label from Santos plus the original version which was not on the last release. The original is a dark Beat freak styled groover with tuff tribal percussion` trippy vocal samples and really tight production. Santos' mix adds more synths and sound fx to the package in a Satoshi Tomiie style.

After gaining legandary status from appearing on Sasha & Diggers NE vol cd` this duo are back in town` with another late night epic. Weekend World are on the remix` and what a mix it is! In Martin's dope style` he flips the more Prog original into a tight and techy journey of Floppy Sounds like fx and drifting emotive keys. As you would expect from WW this is off the hook! The original is more driving` with a pretty piano break towards the end` that reminds us of dramatic Silver Planet outings. Miss this biggie at your own peril!!!
