Here are some general guidelines for using the NRGmusic.com message boards:
Remember that all posted messages can be viewed by the general public at large. Before posting, doublecheck that your message contains information you want others to know.
Compose an informative message, titled with a subject heading accurately reflecting the main point of your message. For example, a message entitled "Who sings a song called 'Run Away'", is more likely to be read than a simple "Help!" in the subject line.
Select language that is kind and respectful of others, even if you do not agree with their viewpoint or thoughts. Choose appropriate language. "Flaming", insults, overtly foul language, and promotion of drug use are not acceptable. Any material that is harassing, defaming, offensive, abusive, or indecent will not be allowed. Agree to disagree if necessary, but respect others' opinions and problems.
Format your message to look like the print in a newspaper, magazine or book by using capital and lowercase letters in a traditional manner. . . neither all caps, nor all lowercase. The use of all capital letters looks and feels like SHOUTING on the board.
Let others know what valuable information may be accessible at another site. Include a brief explanation of what is found at a URL/site posted in your message. Messages containing only URLs, obvious ads, or commercial messages will be removed.
Do not post copyrighted material obtained from any source. If you don't have the legal right to publish it, produce it, or distribute it, then don't do it.
Select the most appropriate message board on which to post your message. Please do not "spam" your message across multiple boards as this actually reduces the likelihood of your message being read. We, like you, hate spam. Spam messages will be deleted. If you wish to advertise an event, concert, album, or something else that would interest our members, email Dustin Nelson at dustinn@NRGmusic.com
Feel free to contact us at customerservice@NRGmusic.com for any issues that may arise with the message boards.
NRGmusic.com reserves the right to remove any message that violates these terms. Repeated failure to follow these rules may result in your NRGmusic.com account being revoked.
All messages posted become the exclusive property of NRGmusic.com.
