NRGmusic.com has 5 different stock statuses.

In Stock
We have this item in stock at the NRGmusic.com warehouses in Seattle and it's ready to ship. Items in stock usually ship within 1 business day. On very, very rare occasions, sometimes an item marked In Stock may be out of stock, or for other reasons (such as damaged upon inspection) we may not be able to ship it out to you immediately. If for any reason an In Stock item needs to be ordered in, we will immediately remove the item from stock and contact you with further details.

In Stock At Label
This item is in stock at the label or distribution point and it's ready to be shipped to our Seattle warehouses as soon as you order it. Items that are in stock at the label arrive into our Seattle warehouse within 5-10 business days, depending on if the label is import or domestic, west coast or east coast. On very, very rare occasions, sometimes an item marked In Stock At Label may be out of stock, or for other reasons (such as damaged upon inspection) we may not be able to ship it out to you immediately. If for any reason an In Stock At Label item will take longer to arrive than the 2-5 business days, we will contact you with further details.

Orderable
This item is not in stock at our warehouse in Seattle at this time, but can be ordered in to our Seattle warehouse for you from the label or distribution company. This item may be in stock at the label or distribution company, or it may need to be repressed by the label or ordered in to the distribution center. We don't use distributors that our competitors often use. We don't keep your order on a 90 day backorder that will never come in. We do however, offer a reasonable time for the item to come in, allowing up to 45 days maximum. We do not have an exact arrival time into our warehouse for items that are marked Orderable, but typically these items arrive in under 2-3 weeks, if not sooner.

Preorder
Items are marked: Preorder, when they are set for a future release. Usually, this status is only used in the two week period prior to the items release; though some items come with bonuses for preordering and may have a longer Preorder timeframe.

Preorder items can be purchased in advance of the release to insure that items are received hot off the presses. After items have passed their release date, their status will be changed from Preorder to reflect their current status.

Special Order
If an item is marked as Special Order, then we no longer officially stock this item because our warehouse has been told it is not obtainable. You may add Special Order items to your Wish List or Shopping Cart.

Remember, Special Order items are officially not obtainable and most likely will not come in.

Adding one of these items to your Wish List or Shopping Cart does not mean you will ever get this item from NRGmusic.com, but we will search around for any new copies that may be left in our warehouse, at the label, or from our distribution companies. Since we work with so many different buying sources, sometimes the most obscure out of print item may fall into our hands, but often not. Also, adding a Special Order item to your Wish List does not mean your are forced to buy that item at that time. You are more than welcome to buy it once it arrives in stock, but if you choose to, you may keep it on your Wish List for future purchase.
